KEY BENEFITS

  • The completed bakery is set to create over 450 new jobs in the area. It includes a despatch and production warehouse as well as space for offices and other supporting facilities.
  • The proposed development for Warburtons will also showcase a number of these cutting edge sustainable technologies, all provided as standard by Gazeley and the UK Logistics Fund.
  • This is the second deal between Gazeley and Warburtons, following the successful delivery of a bakery unit for the company in 2003 at Gazeley’s Enfield site.

G. Park Bristol comprises 143 acres of development land within a managed environment, located between the M48 and M5 and offers direct access to 80% of the UK in 4.5 hours.

This Warburtons transaction closely follows completion of two other properties at G. Park Western Approach, where Units 5010 and 5020 are currently available to let. Both have been developed in line with Gazeley’s sustainable design concept and benefit from 11 state of the art eco-friendly measures including rain water harvesting and recycling, energy efficient lighting, low water use appliances and FSC approved timber.

“With Gazeley having worked with Warburtons five years ago, we are pleased they have chosen us again to provide another production and logistics solution. We look forward to developing the sustainable and highly efficient new site for them at Western Approach, Bristol, one of the South West’s premiere logistics locations.”
