Yesterday afternoon, under heavy rain showers, the cornerstone was laid at the construction site of a new 11,700 sqm warehouse at Nohra, in the Federal State of Thuringia. The tenant is Axthelm+Zufall, a 100 % subsidiary of Zufall logistics group.

The cornerstone was laid jointly by Thomas Karmann, Managing Director Europe of Gazeley, Jürgen Wolpert, Managing Director of Zufall logistics group and Joachim Werner, Director of the Axthelm + Zufall subsidiary at Nohra. The event was attended by over 50 people.

Groundworks on the 22,000 sqm area for the new logistics building were started in summer 2008. At present the columns and structural wood beams are nearly finished, and everything is as according to programme. The tenant will move into the new warehouse in January 2009.

Gazeley have already developed two warehouses for Zufall logistics group (at Erfurt and Magna Park Kassel). A fourth 20k project is at present under development in Fulda, in the Federal State of Hessen.
